To be just as gentle and patient with yourself as you would be with a little child. You don’t have to highlight every mistake or punish yourself with harsh criticism.
Those thoughts were never really yours- they came from someone else. You just believed them because no one told you the opposite in that moment.
Or maybe there was no one to constantly remind you how much you’re worth.
Or perhaps they did, but by then it already felt too late.
This painting’s message is an invitation to separate failure from your self-worth. To become your own best friend: someone who understands, supports, and accepts even the hardest moments.
